“Probably the nicest place we stayed at in all our trip to Georgia”
We hit the jackpot finding this spot! The cottage blends old stone with concrete in a quirky way, and the details are charming. The room, bed, and bathroom are super comfy. Breakfast is plentiful—big thanks to Temur for the porridge and Ira for the scrambled eggs—and we even received a lovely dinner without asking. The owners are probably the kindest folks we’ve met on our whole Georgia trip, speak excellent English, chat a lot but never intrude. The room offers a nice view, and the garden is beautiful too. A 4x4 and good navigation skills help (Google Maps points you to the wrong side of the river), but the owners could pick you up if you need. From here you can easily discover hidden gems off the beaten path. We’ll definitely stay longer next time!
