The breakfast was really good and we liked the room a lot, but there was no wardrobe in it, just a small one.

The location was great and we were in a fantastic room. The bar didn’t have enough seating for drinks, it’s mainly for eating and it was busy.

The place sits right in the middle of Stow, the room felt cozy, warm and comfy, and the man who checked me in was very friendly and helpful. It feels more like an inn than a hotel – no staff on site overnight and no reception. The food was hit or miss, and I discovered the dinner bill was off by almost £50, so I’m glad I double‑checked.

Very convenient to the town centre. There were no fixed mirrors in either bathroom – seriously?
