The location is great, but the smell in the room is noticeable, which is understandable since the rooms are underground.

Le Copertelle Bed & Breakfast, nestled in a historic Serra San Quirico building, offers panoramic mountain views and a private entrance. Rooms feature tiled floors, walk‑in showers, bidets, hairdryers, dining tables, work desks and outdoor furniture, with family and ground‑floor options. The on‑site restaurant serves local cuisine with vegetarian, gluten‑free and dairy‑free choices, plus a fresh Italian breakfast.

The location inside the walls of SerraS.Quirico is fascinating, but the accommodation itself falls short in quality, the bathroom needs fixing, and the Wi‑Fi is unreliable. The restaurant, however, is excellent, offering artisan cuisine with genuine ingredients, generous portions, and great value.

Breakfast and dinner are excellent, yet the room is inadequate, noisy, and lacks lighting.

Everything was fine, nothing to note.

I booked a few months in advance, almost forced by the Ferragosto rush, for a single night after visiting the Frasassi Caves before heading back to Umbria. The stay turned into a pleasant surprise; we hadn’t even read the host’s profile on the site. We found ourselves in a lodging inside the medieval town walls, with a stunning view and an excellent restaurant for its location, menu, ingredients, and the chef’s special touch. I highly recommend it, especially for the great value and breakfast, hoping to return with more time available.
