This tiny hostel room is super cute, ideal if you just need a place to sleep before a ferry, and it’s within walking distance of the piers. It’s a family business, and the owners live in the same building, which made me feel safe while I was alone in the dorm.

The two owners were cheerful and very friendly. Because I arrived very late, I could still check in, which was great for a long journey. The price included accommodation and a breakfast break, the food was surprisingly good, the blanket was a bit short for cold nights, but overall it was fine.

We stayed at this hostel and it turned out to be one of the most charming places we've ever visited, largely thanks to the amazing staff. Our first day in Thailand was rough because right before boarding our flight we discovered bed bugs at the hotel we had booked. We quickly booked this place for a night before our ferry to Koh Samui, and the host texted us asking when we would arrive and if we were hungry. She mentioned a place that was open late, since we didn’t get there until about 10 pm. When we arrived she and her husband showed us around, took us to a super sweet little restaurant behind their scooters for free, and then picked us up again after we finished eating. In the morning they had prepared a free breakfast and coffee, which was a very sweet gesture. The hostel itself is very clean, the beds are decent size with curtains—great for privacy. The location is perfect for catching ferries to Koh Samui, Phangang and Tao, and the host will drive you to Donsak pier in a car with large luggage space for a reasonable price. The hosts went out of their way to make our stay as good as possible, and we highly recommend staying with them! Thank you for being so kind. No complaints!
