The location and the unique concept were good, but the room was cramped with no room to move once the futons were set up; unless you pay for spa experiences, there’s nothing else to see or do on the property, so you’re basically paying a high premium just to sleep in your room—worthless.

The staff were genuinely friendly, yet the website’s claim of a Japanese Onsen-style bath gave the impression of a natural hot spring, while in reality the bath uses only hot tap water and the property has no real Onsen.

The food was solid and the staff were friendly, but the spa experience left something to be desired. After the massage we were told to get back into our rooms right away—no time to change out of the massage clothes, and it was freezing outside. A quick ten‑minute rest after the treatment would have made a big difference. The room itself was a bit cramped and the balcony was awkward to move around on.

Spot on location, but the room was missing a few basics. There was no teaspoon to stir my coffee, and the bed felt a touch too firm for my liking.
