The location is great, the bedroom and bathroom are clean, and the shower is superb; however, the carpet is very old and smells like dog, and if you have back issues the mattress might not support you well because it sinks when you lie down.

The breakfast staff were fantastic—when the coffee pots ran out, they quickly refilled them with hot coffee. The front desk let me back into my room after checkout so I could retrieve an item I’d forgotten. The parking spaces were packed too tightly, making it hard to park and get in and out of cars.

We stayed in a very large, nice room with air‑conditioning and a mountain view, so it was very quiet; the bathroom was spacious, well lit, and always clean, and the room service came daily. Breakfast times were generous, and the staff always made sure food and drinks were refilled right away. The breakfast was typical American, exactly what we wanted and very tasty—especially the yogurt! Reception staff, especially in the evenings, were very friendly and always welcomed us warmly, making us feel truly at home. The hotel offered seating with tables on the forecourt overlooking Pikes Peak—wonderful! There was 24/7 free coffee and water in the lobby. We were completely satisfied, with no complaints.

The spot is spot on—clean, close to everything we wanted to explore, and the room was spotless with comfy beds and a squeaky‑clean bathroom. Breakfast offered a decent range of hot dishes. No problems or major concerns.
