Animals around the property and truly in the middle of nature. It felt more like a B&B than a lodge; the host and hostess sat at your table. We found that cozy, but I can see it might not appeal to everyone.

Nice view, in the wild nature. After repeatedly telling them the shower was cold and they said it would be fixed, we still had to endure cold water.

Super cozy owners, delicious dinner and breakfast and a fun game drive! Definitely recommend if you’re on the way to Kruger or want to explore Africa’s nature in a quieter spot. You’re well taken care of here, the view is beautiful and there are two cute dogs on the grounds.

The lodge is 40 minutes from the Falahabova gates, surrounded by pristine nature and at night you can hear the sounds of a lion pride, and on the road you may spot an impala herd. The patio is very comfortable where the owners serve breakfast and dinner. During dinner the owners adjusted our route, suggesting the optimal one, which we used. The room has two separate beds, pleasant interior. The dinner featured a barbecue of chicken and pork. We drove in the dark and the road seemed quite difficult, and at the entrance you have to pay 300 rand.

During our stay at Adonsonia Lodge we were amazed. The location was great and the game drives were fantastic. We were lucky to have views of many animals from the lodge itself, including a close encounter with a lion and seeing a leopard (of course from a safe distance). Michel and Aruna are very friendly and approachable. They gave us excellent advice on planning activities. Both breakfast and dinner were very tasty. Overall an unforgettable experience. Definitely contact them for tips and advice to make the trip complete!
