The hotel is sparkling clean, which is a big plus
The staff here are super friendly and the rooms are spotless
The location was a bit of a letdown for me, as it took around 45 minutes to an hour to get to downtown depending on the time of day
The value for money was great, and I felt like I got a lot for my buck

“Great staff and value for money”
The accommodation was good and honest.
“最高!”
I had an amazing stay at this hotel, with friendly staff, a beautiful and spacious room, and great amenities like a nearby 7-Eleven and Starbucks. The only downside was that it was a bit of a distance from the city centre, which made taxi rides a bit pricey.
“Memorable stay with fabulous hosts”
After checking out of my first stay, I chose to return to The Choice Hotel and extend my visit for another week. I appreciated the spotless cleanliness and the attentive service from the owners and staff. On the initial days I used public transport to reach the city centre, and the bus stop was just a few steps away, which was very convenient. I later discovered that renting a motorbike for €12 a day was the best way to explore Bangkok, especially in authentic local neighbourhoods. The hotel offered free, secure parking, and there was a self‑service washing machine and dryer available, which I was very happy with. A small home‑gym sits in the backyard, and you can enjoy a morning walk on the front lawn. Overall, I will definitely return to this hotel whenever I visit Bangkok and strongly recommend it to fellow travelers who want to avoid touristy spots and prefer staying at a locally owned establishment.
“Impressive stay with the locals”
The location perfectly matched my preferences: calm, cosy, and rejuvenating. I could walk a few minutes to local markets open both morning and evening, and a short motorbike ride took me to Wat Pak Nam and the BTS stations. The service was warm and energetic, making it an absolutely fantastic choice.
