“A true trekker's hostel”
We liked the vibe of the hostel and how well it’s maintained. The exceptional views and cozy room made for a truly nice experience, and it’s great that it’s not part of a major chain. The owner and caretaker are both very nice people. The serenity here was amazing—I’ll come again.

We loved our 2‑night stay at the Jaberkhet Trekkers Lodge. The location is great, near the Nature Reserve, and it’s very quiet and peaceful. The rooms are simple but thoughtfully designed with everything you need: comfortable firm beds, nice hot showers, a teakettle, generous filtered water, and they’re very clean. There’s a lovely terrace facing the mountains with a big tree where we could watch birds while eating breakfast. If you want a peaceful place to enjoy nature with warm, helpful hosts, look no further—highly recommended.

The property was clean, peaceful, well maintained and the hosts were really welcoming, and the location is peaceful, far from city chaos. Local transport could be an issue if you did not arrange a vehicle, rent a bike to experience the place.

The general hospitality and the peace and quiet were excellent, and home food was an added advantage. A dustbin and some small storage space in the room would have been useful.
