The property felt like a charming traditional country pub; the room was spotless and very cozy, the staff were lovely, and both the evening meal and breakfast were superb—highly recommend the restaurant. However, we ran into a toilet issue that we reported to the staff, and the hotel should clarify that payment is made on site and not taken in advance; we thought the payment was being collected, which almost caused us to leave without paying and was very embarrassing.
