It was nasty and very outdated, and it wasn’t clean.
The beds were comfortable and the hallways stayed quiet, but the breakfast was a disappointment: we couldn't find pancake mix for waffles, there were no spoons for cereal, the air conditioning was off in the hallway, and the whole place smelled muggy.
Nothing was opened, and the police station was not available.
The hotel sits right on the main street of the city, which made getting around a breeze.
“Horrible”
The room and hallways on every floor reeked of mold, mildew, and a wet dog, with wallpaper and paint peeling off the walls. The first room I received was infested with large brown roaches around the air conditioner and in the bathroom. After I reported this to the front‑desk woman, she seemed clueless. The manager refused to refund me, falsely accused me of cursing at the front‑desk staff, and even tried to evict me. Eventually he gave me a new room, but it still had no working air conditioning or TV, and the odor persisted. The third room was slightly better, yet I remained uneasy because of the earlier experience. I’ve stayed here before and never faced racist remarks or deception. The hotel should consider demolition; there was no free breakfast and the swimming pool was non‑functional.
