The location is decent and the value is good. Just have to say that in the last 10 years I’ve been staying there it’s just steadily getting worse. General maintenance is non‑existent, the pool is dirty, water is never provided unless asked for, it just looks a little grotty, a shame.

The staff were polite and helpful, and the location was very handy, close to riverside restaurants and bars. The pool was clean and well maintained, making for an overall good experience. However, there were not enough towels – I would have liked more than two, and the drying time between showers was barely sufficient. A small fridge in the room, just big enough for water bottles, would have made a huge difference, and although there was a kettle, there was no coffee, tea, or mug, which seemed odd.

The location was fine, but the room was very dirty and smelled disgusting; the bed sheet had blood stains, and everything in the room looked old—perhaps it’s time for maintenance.
