“A mixed experience; unlikely to repeat”
The rooms were cozy but a bit cramped, yet still comfortable. The common areas were roomy, and the gardens were lovely; the outdoor pool and spa were spotless. However, there was no place to dry swimsuits, and the heated towel rail was broken. The shower had weak water pressure, and there was no elevator or gym.
“Luxurious, Relaxing stay by the seaside!”
It felt like home and super relaxing; the place was busy yet not overcrowded, and everyone from guests to staff was very friendly. We didn’t like the stairs to our room in the Attic, but the room itself was lovely—cozy, with very comfortable beds and a bathroom that was a good size.
“If it was not for cleanliness & quality of the room our stay would have been lovely”
The gardens, outside pool, bar area, and dining area were nice, but the room and balcony cleanliness was really poor: the bedding and towels were tired, dust covered the nets, fan, headboard, floor, and skirting, the bins outside were dirty, there were no lounger pads, the lingers had sea gull poo and dirt, no umbrella, the outside sofa had a big dip, and sea gull poo was on the glass balcony—overall I was so disappointed.
The food was great, the team friendly, and the overall vibe warm, but the stairs were a bit of a hassle.
“An unforgettable weekend family in one of IOW’s gem”
The location is incredible, steeped in rich history, tucked into a great corner of IOW, and the staff are amazing, offering plenty to keep the whole family safely entertained.
