The welcome was warm and the owners were very available, the setting was beautiful and quiet, but the heating in the cottage was still being installed or repaired during our stay (though there were temporary heaters), which we think has since been fixed.

The peace and tranquility were tremendous, though the room listed on Bookings.com was not in the chateau; we found that rooms are available directly through the owners, who are exceptionally friendly, and we were not disappointed when we chose to dine on the property; a good artisanal brasserie is just a 20‑minute walk away.
