The room with bathroom was in good condition and we felt comfortable at first during our stay. The key‑code arrival was hassle‑free. Unfortunately the positive impression was completely eclipsed at check‑out. The check‑out time was 10:00 am. My 13‑year‑old son and I exceeded it by about 15 minutes, which I do not want to deny. We were already tidying up and leaving. At 10:05 am and again around 10:10 am, the landlord knocked on our door very vehemently. The host, in a very irritated tone, said she “didn’t feel like doing overtime here”, that we had accepted the terms and should have left by 10:00 am. I explained that we were already leaving and only needed a few more minutes. By about 10:15 am we left the room. I later tried to speak again to explain that we were leaving the place tidy and that I had even swept. The host accused me of “probably never having done overtime in my life”. When I replied that I had indeed done overtime, she retorted literally: “You’ve already done overtime, you asshole.” When I said I found that treatment of guests inappropriate, her partner joined. In the end I was told to leave the premises. As I was walking out, he said to me literally: “Just don’t write anything negative, we have your data.” That last remark felt very unpleasant and intimidating in the context of a potential review. It was especially regrettable that my 13‑year‑old son had to witness the whole confrontation. Of course, we can criticize that we exceeded the check‑out time by about 15 minutes.

Early in the morning we received a message telling us where to find our key. The room, including the bathroom, was absolutely clean. There was a small area with a fridge, kettle, toaster, and coffee machine, plus everything needed for coffee. A selection of tea was also available. There was nothing to complain about.

Very friendly reception. The double room even had a small kitchen.
