Pension "Zur Traube"

“Preis ok”

They waited for us because we arrived a bit later. The shower divider was broken and a toothpaste holder from the previous guest was still there. The toilet could have been cleaned better. The room was located above the kitchen, and the kitchen smell lingered.

No breakfast was provided. The water in the bathroom was cold, and a socket was hanging loose from the wall.

“Zu teuer”

The beds were good, the bathroom clean and modern. Unfortunately the sleeping area wasn’t entirely clean; the windowsill had round adhesive residues, the wallpaper was peeling, the microwave turntable was missing, and a glare frame from the socket lay on the floor. The socket was open. For €95 I expected better, especially since the location is quite rural – the price should change. It was only one night, so it’s a pity.

“ok”

Everything except… There were no working windows, and the room was too warm, unfortunately.

“Für einen Kurzaufenthalt gut”

I chose this room because it was inexpensive and close to the venue I had to attend. The area is quiet and there are parking spaces. The room is small but adequate and tidy. It has a microwave and a fridge. The beds are comfortable, and the bathroom has a shower. I could make my cereal in the room. The rooms are quiet. The staff are friendly. I ended up with a room whose window was right next to the exhaust vent of the restaurant below, so I couldn’t open the window because of the odor and noise – a no‑go in summer and generally annoying. I had to use earplugs. In the kitchen you could theoretically cook food, but the cleanliness isn’t checked – it’s basically a contractor’s flat.
