The hotel is run by a family. In the kitchen, the owner's son works, bringing fresh ideas and proven classics, resulting in an outstanding selection; I haven't tasted such good vegetables in a long time. The homemade ice cream impressed with its flavor and unique decoration. Our room was built from wood in a new annex crafted by the hotel chef’s carpentry shop—really well done. Breakfast was lovingly prepared and sufficient, even though we were the only overnight guests. We didn’t use the wellness area. The hotel manager stored our collected blueberries and chanterelles in the cold storage, which we appreciated. On August 1st and 2nd it was very hot, and the room stayed warm; the lack of cooling (blinds or air conditioning) was a major complaint on hot days—the only criticism.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. On the plus side, the hotel's location in the heart of the town is very convenient, and the breakfast was decent. The dinner menu at the evening restaurant, which was featuring a wild game theme during my stay, was truly exceptional.

I had the pleasure of staying at this charming hotel, which struck the perfect balance between modernity and coziness. The interior design, featuring natural materials and predominantly wood, created a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the attention to detail was evident in the beautifully crafted hooks and shoehorns. The hotel's location makes it an excellent choice for visitors attending the Reichenau Festival or the Semmering Summer Festival.
