I liked the location and the staff were friendly and helpful, but the rooms weren't well insulated – you can hear the nightly prayer call and the neighbors turning on their bathroom taps. It costs what you pay, but for Westerners it feels more like a motel than a hotel. Still, for the price it’s more than enough if you’re just passing through.

The room was spacious, the air‑con and shower worked well, the mattress was firm, and the hotel was within walking distance of Pasar Payang – less than 500 m. Parking right in front meant anyone could grab a spot quickly, and although there’s no lift I didn’t mind. On the day I stayed there was a faint, unpleasant smell outside the room, like a toilet, but it never entered the room. Overall I was satisfied.

The bathroom water pressure was excellent, the location was great, and it was close to the mosque and other places I needed. The pillows and mattress were comfortable. Nothing to complain about.

Even though the unit is simple, all the equipment works fine – it’s definitely worth it. The location is strategic. The air‑conditioner is a bit noisy; maybe it’s time for maintenance.
