Shanghai Pudong Caolu Atour Hotel

The hotel exceeded all expectations. The high‑tech room, excellent breakfast included in the price, laundry (available every day), toiletries, daily cleaning, library, gym, etc. The hotel is a five‑minute walk from the metro station! It’s almost the terminus, so you hop on a free carriage and after 30‑40 minutes you’re in central Shanghai. The only missing features were a pool and a view from the window, but that’s a different price tier. A separate delight was the delivery robot—fun to watch. At the entrance there’s parking, and behind the hotel there are shops and food. I thought the hotel also offered a shuttle to Pudong airport, but they declined. No worries, we took the metro in about 40 minutes and stepped straight into the airport building, very convenient.

Clean and comfortable. Excellent daily room service. Staff was very helpful especially Ding ,oh very patient with customers. Ready to assist with enquiries. So much of breakfast food options. Language barrier was a big challenge. Poor internet service, until I installed a Sim card that worked partially

The staff were super friendly, and the hotel is just a ten‑minute walk from the metro; the rooms were spacious and spotless, and breakfast was fantastic.

“Excellent experience”

The staff were amazing, the cleanliness was exceptional, and breakfast had a huge variety, though I wish they added some oriental or continental options. The location, the staff, and the cleanliness were all points of concern.
