The staff were very friendly and the breakfast tasty. The hotel grounds were very nice with perfect facilities. A bar for evenings where guests could sit together would be nice, since the hotel is a few kilometres from the town.

The place is wonderfully located, breakfasts are delicious, the pool is clean, the interiors are spacious and atmospheric, the kitchen is equipped, and it’s a good base for exploring Tuscany. There was no air‑conditioning, so we had to sleep with the windows open; fortunately there were mosquito nets on the windows but the highway noise was audible, and the jacuzzi didn’t work.

The place is simply amazing, with a unique, nostalgic, and peaceful atmosphere. Everything is clean and pleasant, both inside the room and outside. We’ll definitely return and recommend it to anyone heading to Chianti or Tuscany in general for a few nights. Two small issues that could use a fix: the hot water in the shower runs out very quickly, and there’s no space for towels or storage in the shower to put things.

We were blown away by how stunning and regal the place turned out to be; Castello di Bibbione is a genuine historic castle set in the Chianti hills, and our apartment was so old‑fashioned, elegant, and impressive that we’ll remember it for a long time. Any minor drawbacks are hard to recall, and the whole experience was unforgettable—we’ll definitely come back.
