“Best host and breakfast ever in best location.”

If one wants to visit Alba this is the ONLY place to stay!! The location could not be better, Carlo & wife are top notch hosts who serve memorable breakfasts: eggs to order, pastries, fresh squeezed orange juice, excellent coffee and more! Carlo also had excellent recommendations for restaurants to eat wonderful dinners. The parking is very secure and included: DO NOT bring an SUV. My wife and I travel A LOT and this was one of our best experiences. We would return in a heartbeat. If we had a magic wand there would have been a coffee maker in the room but it just meant we were welcomed in the breakfast area that mush faster

“Absolut FANTASTISCH!”

I normally don’t write reviews, but this place demanded it. Carlo is the best host imaginable—extremely helpful, courteous, and you feel the love and dedication he and his wife Silvia put into running the ALMA. It’s not just a place to sleep. The rooms are stylish and thoughtfully designed, and breakfast is not only tasty but lovingly prepared and beautifully presented. We couldn’t have chosen a better spot for our stay.

Staying with Carlo was wonderful! The property is gorgeous, and he and his wife have thought of every detail—from the hair towel in the bathroom to the impressive record collection in the living room. The food was fresh and delicious, and Carlo was a pleasure to chat with over breakfast. Highly recommend! The parking is tight, so if you’re renting a car, get a small one.

“The best place to stay in Alba.”

The location is awesome, right in the heart of Alba. Everything is walkable, and the train station is a short walk away. The property is very comfortable, and the little balcony on the street was a great spot to sit, people‑watch, and sip wine. Breakfast was delicious, and everything at the property was enhanced by Carlo’s excellent hosting.
