The spot is great, essentially on a huge zucchini farm (super delicious!). The building, with its nice apartments, feels like a hotel garden with a sun‑lit patio. It was very quiet. Our apartment was spotless, fully equipped, and the interior was thoughtfully chosen, making the place cozy. We stayed with two kids (10 & 7) and everything was kid‑friendly. A big gate kept the kids from running off the property. Other families with children were around, which made settling in easy. Silvia and Enrico are fantastic hosts who always helped with questions, from finding a good restaurant to other useful tips. The nearest beach was a 7‑minute walk from the apartment, and San Lorenzo city centre is a 15‑minute walk along the sea. The only downside was a main street for cars very close by, which was a bit tricky at first to cross with two kids. After three days we got used to it and even crossed it with our bikes. It was a bit annoying but not a deal‑breaker and didn’t spoil our very positive experience at La Tuffatrice.

The apartment was clean and had everything needed. The unexpected issue was the air conditioner, which didn’t work during the day, making it very hard in the heat; the hosts only allowed it to run at night. That’s not the first line of defense. The view from the property to the sea is fine, but between the sea and the apartments there’s a 100‑meter cliff and two roads. The nearest beach is a 15‑minute walk on a car road with no pedestrian path, which is unsafe. The beach itself is 15 minutes away, has sand the color of mud, and we don’t want to go back there.

Our stay was brief but delightful. The apartment was clean, spacious, and fully equipped. The owners were helpful and welcoming, and the view from the garden terrace was wonderful. Everything was perfect—highly recommended!

The location is outstanding, just a stone's throw from Imperia and San Lorenzo, with a sea view that left nothing to be desired. Enrico and Silvia were lovely people who made sure our stay was unforgettable. We’ll definitely come back to this place.
