It was very cute! It was centrally located, very clean and management was very nice! I highly recommend the experience

The location was great (15 min by goot from Kiyomizu-dera) and room was nice. Beds were comfortable and room was spacious. The soundproofing was not good, we were woken up by the shrine's gong at 5:30 am (bring earplugs!) and for the price, a breakfast option would be nice. Overall, a nice hotel but a bit pricey for what it is

Great to stay in a traditional style ryokan, although that came with some compromises (futons for 2 family members, no kitchen facilities). Modern bathroom, although not as big as other accommodation. Staff present and very helpful. Good location - close to bus routes, temples and Gion area, lots of places to eat nearby
