I swapped a hotel for this pousada on my second trip to Salvador and it surpassed all expectations! Nando, the receptionist, was very helpful and always concerned about our well‑being, a top professional. There were cooks who handled the kitchen. They served breakfast, lunch, and dinner, all excellent with generous portions. The view from the room window was beautiful, the sunset was amazing, the pousada was quiet and organized, and the room had air conditioning and a private bathroom, all very clean and organized. Everything was perfect. We loved it!

“Excelente lugar, mas devem se atentar mais a limpeza. Uma experiência satisfatória”

This inn turned out to be the most divided place I've stayed at. The location is superb—close to the beach, tourist spots, restaurants, and a supermarket, right in a prime spot of the city. The room view is breathtaking, a real highlight. The old mansion itself has huge potential and decent rooms, but the cleanliness, repairs, and daily housekeeping are lacking—there should be more attention to cleaning. The sheets and towels were spotless, though. The manager, Nando, was very friendly and kind, and the staff at Cantina da Tina were attentive, kind, and welcoming; breakfast was modest but tasty, lunch was wonderful, reasonably priced, and hospitable. I recommend it. On the downside, the cleaning is an issue—because it’s an old house, it needs a lot of repairs, and the bathrooms especially need better cleaning.

The staff member Nando was incredibly helpful and attentive, and the front desk was flexible about check‑in and check‑out times; the location is great.
