I liked that the coffee shop was right next to the hotel and the Meridian restaurant was just across the street, so walking to the beach and dunes was easy. The hotel sits off the main roads yet still has quick access to Rt 101. My room was nicely furnished, attractive, and quiet. The toilet jammed once because I didn’t hold the flush handle down long enough, but that can happen.

The spot and the staff were excellent, and the view of Kiwanda Rock from my room was fantastic. A few of the amenity locations felt a bit scattered, though.

Pacific City’s setting is perfect, with the market next door and the restaurant and beach just across the street; every room has a balcony with a sunset view. The beds were comfortable, and the shower was recently updated and clean. The location is central and ideal for a getaway. However, paying around $500 for an overnight stay and then having to pay an extra $10 for parking feels absurd.

The TV was too complicated to use, the shower pressure was awful, and the room smelled like smoke or mildew. When I asked to switch to a room with a tub, they said no. Everything else was bad.

The spot was spot on, and the team was welcoming and helpful. I couldn't sleep well because one window lacked a blackout shade and the lights were too bright.
