“Good hotel but too expensive”
The location is great and the room is clean and comfortable, especially since it’s directly connected to the Kendal/MIT station. The building itself is old, but the rooms are tidy. However, the price isn’t reasonable, there’s no complimentary water, the outside noise is a bit loud, and the shower is a bit weak. The front desk is under renovation and there’s large construction behind the hotel, so morning noise can be a bit bothersome. Most rooms are connecting, which makes security a concern. The hotel itself is fine, but it’s just a regular chain hotel and not worth the price. Wi‑Fi is free only if you sign up for a free membership; you have to press a paid button once and it’s uneasy until checkout (though no charge was made).
