The place is very cool and offers a beautiful view. The host is excellent, speaks Spanish very well, and is very friendly. The walk to the site is a bit ugly, but it’s only about 500 m.

The host was super responsive and happy to meet every request we had, which made the stay pleasant. Getting there was a hassle though; the road is dirt‑gravel and a bit tricky to drive, and the place sits far from the main La Fortuna sights.

Olga went above and beyond – she answered every question we tossed her way and even whipped up breakfast for us after a late arrival that left us without groceries. The bird‑watching right from the property is amazing, and the whole spot feels perfect for unwinding and exploring La Tigra.

Really good bang for your buck – the rooms are comfy, the vibe blends nicely with the surrounding nature, and the murals add a nice touch. Breakfast was tasty, and I’m already planning to come back.

The view from the hotel is fantastic, but you need to know up front that they only accept cash, which can be inconvenient. Also, the road leading up to the property is pretty bumpy.
