The location, cleanliness, hygiene, staff, free parking, the onsen, and the Japanese style of the room were all excellent.

Being close to the station, having parking, and being able to use the bath late at night were great. However, the window sash had spider webs and grime, and while the staff were few, I wish they’d keep things clean rather than just old.

The friendly staff made the stay a pure pleasure; we could speak English, practice Japanese, and even see Polish subtitles unexpectedly. The room was the biggest Japanese‑style room I’ve ever seen, complete with futon, TV, table, chair, Japanese‑style wardrobe, and a back‑room coat rack. The real onsen on the fourth floor was a fantastic way to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Everything was great, though remember it’s a ryokan from 1964 and, like all ryokans I’ve been to, it doesn’t have a private bathroom.

The staff were responsive, but mold had grown on the air‑conditioner vent, so please clean that.
