24 m² · Sleeps 4
The only room that sleeps 4 — heating.
The place was spotless and the room was spacious, but they could add basic toiletries.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and it was convenient to travel to Edinburgh. The only downside was that breakfast was only offered on weekends.
“Mattress would of made whole lot of difference”
Everything around the bar and the restaurant was fine, but the mattress in room 7 was terrible—felt like sleeping on the bed base.
“No recomendable”
No positives, I expected so much more. First off, it was ridiculously expensive, the bathroom had no shower soap, it seemed like a trivial thing to fix. They tried to give the room a modern look but fell short. The lamp was broken, the curtains were torn, you could see the wood underneath the bed, overall it was fatal and the price was sky‑high.
“Does the job.”
The room interior looked nice, but the beds were a bit saggy. I had asked for a double bed and instead got two singles jammed together.
