“Have local transportation figured out before you go”
Clean rooms and very good food. Nice location across from the old historic city. This is not directly related to the hotel, which was a solid 8 out of 10. But, important information to share….The hotel staff was not knowledgeable about car share options in the area and had very limited taxi and bus information. We wanted to visit a town 5 miles away and ran into many roadblocks. Uber did not work and the taxi service wanted 55 euro one way and said we needed 2 cars for 5 adults (no luggage). So, 110 euro for a 5 mile one way trip
I felt very comfortable there; the food and the beer in the beer garden were great, the staff were always friendly, and the Wi‑L an worked.

Great location, the friendliest staff, breakfast is first‑class, and the dinner is phenomenal.

A lovely country hotel with a superb restaurant, but the room above the entrance to the hotel and restaurant is very noisy at night unless all windows are closed.
