The staff gave a warm welcome and the food was amazing; the fire‑lit bar was comfortable and full of memorabilia, the room was extremely cozy, and breakfast was fab – I couldn't recommend it more highly. Thanks Rory and the team.

This inn is lovely, with quiet and very comfortable rooms that have fully equipped private bathrooms; the breakfast is great and the dinner restaurant is very good each evening, and the staff are all, without exception, very friendly and helpful.

The staff were nice, the bed comfortable, the place clean and everything worked; the dinner and breakfast portions were large, but the bean stroganoff was too salty and dry, and the fish and chips were just okay as were the eggs at breakfast.
