The area was nice and I felt safe; the room was cozy and a great size. The shower handle that diverts water to the shower head was hard to pull up and only lifted halfway, resulting in very little water from the shower head—something that would keep me from returning. It needs fixing.

I had a somewhat mixed experience at this hotel. On the downside, I found the staircase to be quite a workout, which wasn't ideal. However, I was a bit disappointed that breakfast wasn't included in my stay. Overall, it was an okay place to stay, but a few amenities would have made it more enjoyable.

I absolutely loved the location of this hotel, being right in the heart of downtown Louisiana. The hallways were adorned with beautiful black and white drawings of scenic Missouri places, which added a lovely touch. My room also had charming old brick walls that gave it a unique character.

My stay was fantastic, thanks in large part to the excellent food at Gambinos eatery. However, I did wish that my vacation was longer, as I didn't want to leave this wonderful place. The combination of great food and a desirable location made for a memorable trip.
