“Great location & view, staff friendly & cheerful. The hotel decor was tired. No hot water in shower.”

The woman at reception was friendly and polite, checking us in quickly without fuss, and she was still friendly at checkout; the large windows let in plenty of light and the seafront view was nice, yet the room felt dated, the bathroom decor—around the bath and skirting—was tired and in need of a refresh, and there was no hot water in the shower, forcing us to take cold showers.
