The central location was great, within walking distance of the Congress building, the old town, and the train station; the staff were very helpful, especially when they carried my luggage up and down the stairs. When trains were running, you could feel the building shake; there was no elevator, but the personnel still carried my suitcase up and down for me!

The location close to the train station was convenient. The windows should only be opened at night; a fly screen could help. The vending machine for drinks beeped loudly and didn’t dispense any drinks. Calling the listed hotline was useless – nobody answered and no one returned the call. The bathroom was too small.

The location was very good, just a 6‑7 minute walk from Salzburg train station, perfect for short stays. The rooms had no air‑conditioning, which could be an issue in summer.

The staff were friendly and the place was close to town. The beds were too short for me, as I’m 6ft tall, and I was uncomfortable.
