The staff did their best to keep things running. We met some kind people whom we greet. The cleanliness was awful; we rarely see a hotel this dirty. We switched rooms because the one assigned to us had stains on the bed and carpet—horrible. Spider webs, dirty carpet, everything. We came with our two young daughters hoping for comfort in a five‑star hotel, and we’ll remember that.

The cleanliness was fine. There was no communication; I sent messages and a special request to celebrate a wedding anniversary, but received no reply. We ended up in a room with two single beds.
