“Great Hotel and facilities”
The food was amazing with a lovely array of fresh fruits, cereals, breads, hot choices, omelette cooked to order, and a gamut of croissants and pastries at breakfast; there was plenty of choice at the evening buffet also with a selection of meats and fish freshly grilled for you alongside the prepared choices of meats, fish, vegetables, salad, rice and chips; the desserts were also wide-ranging alongside an array of fresh fruit and 3 choices of ice cream; one day a week, they had a white chocolate fountain with a selection of sweets to dip in as well as the fruits; the swimming pools had been upgraded, and we had plenty of sunbeds around to lay on; I used the spa pools with the jets, which were lovely and invigorating; there were also massage treatments on offer, all at a small affordable cost; the staff were extremely friendly and helpful at times, making you feel welcome from day one; there was a bonus of entertainment most nights, again varied, as well as your usual duo or group of singers; there were a couple of acrobats who were fabulous; I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for not only the value for money but the fact that it was adults only made it ideal for a female travelling alone; the added touch of drinking water and sweets in the reception was lovely, too; after the evening buffet, there was a selection of sweets you could choose from to take with you, which was another lovely touch. If I were to pick a fault with the hotel, I would say it was a bit far out of the Mojacca centre, and the buses seemed to be hourly; that being said, if you liked walking, which I did, it is only a couple of miles, and Garrucha, with its port, is even nearer; the buses did run from outside the hotel up to the Old Pueblo Town and back hourly, too.
