The adjacent Golf and Country Club features a full bar, Peacock and Stag Restaurant, and a children’s playground. The spot is absolutely gorgeous, with serene lake views that are simply breathtaking. Nothing else could have been better.

The location is great and the hot tub is a highlight, but it was cold and we had to bring extra blankets.

The setting and surroundings are nice, yet the staff were rude, the service barely met the price, and the beds, bathrooms, and living area were all in poor condition.

The place sits in a fantastic spot, the open fire warmed the whole property, the grounds were stunning, and the drive through the estate was picturesque; the balcony offered idyllic views and a complete escape from the outside world. Inside, the décor felt outdated and could use a thorough cleaning or refurbishment, the bathroom was filthy upon arrival with a towel rail covered in toothpaste that wasn’t ours, the television was old and had signal issues on most channels, the hot tub was only partially functional, the supplied toilet rolls were wet, and the crockery and glasses were dirty.
