The host was very lovely and the place was exceptionally clean with a wonderful atmosphere that truly made you feel in Azerbaijan; mosquito nets covered both windows and doors, a kitchen was available for tea with supplied cutlery and dishes, and a delicious breakfast of local products was served; you could see the mountains from the living room, sofa, and dining table; the location is about a 20‑minute walk or a 3‑4 minute drive to the Palace of Sheki Khans; towels and warm blankets are provided, which is a huge plus since most homes in Azerbaijan lack central heating; overall we felt right at home. Regarding the stay, nothing to add; the last 20 metres of the driveway to the hostel are a bit bumpy and may not suit older people or those with disabilities, but a LADA 4x4 can handle it.
