“No plates”
I didn't like it. The washing machine was dirty and didn't work, and there was no cleaner.
The staff were very helpful; I checked in a bit late and Nick was very helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. There was no private bathroom, but that's normal for most pub rooms.
“Good bones but lots of room for improvement”
Decent for what you pay for and a nice pub. Complimentary snacks are nice touch. One shared bathroom for 12-ish rooms was filthy with soaked slippery floors. Could not find the WiFi that was listed on the info sheet. I also asked to extend my booking and got an affirmative but that I would need to change rooms which was fine. I packed up everything into the car in the morning because the place was closed and when I came from a day out I was told that the room was given to someone else which was pretty disappointing.
“Would I go back, yes”
The old hotel was beautiful. I kept the window open by holding it up with a book.
Nothing. Everything
