I was in touch with the owner before checking in and she gave me very detailed information, so I never felt lost in the building. The location is great—just 10 minutes to the main spot and 5 minutes to the supermarket. The night view from my room was amazing. The only downside was that it was not hot at all, so I wouldn’t recommend staying during the hot summer, and the dormitory room only had one small window.

The hostel sits right in the center of Astana. My room was very spacious and the beds were comfortable enough. The bathroom and the ample kitchen were nice and clean, and there’s a machine for washing laundry. There’s enough space to work when you need fast internet. The total number of people who can stay is well thought out. When I return, I’ll stay here without hesitation. The view is very good. It would be better to have a cutting board in the kitchen, maybe a TV in the common area, and a little more privacy around the beds; the room is bright in the morning.

Messages get a reply right away. After checkout, they’ll hold your luggage. The check‑in process was a bit confusing, but they responded quickly, so waiting a little is fine.
