Food quality was good, breakfast had more choices, and there were plenty of charging points for mobiles, tablets and laptops; we had to disconnect the bedside lamp to plug in our charger. The pillows were uncomfortable and there were no alternatives.

The rooms were clean and decent, but the breakfast fell short of what international guests would expect; the selection and quality seemed tailored to locals, the cutlery looked dull and lacked shine, and the towels looked worn and had been used for a long time—newer, higher‑quality towels would make a noticeable difference.

There was no breakfast, the staff were dirty and rude, no soap was provided in the bathroom, the location was hard to reach at night, and overall the property was badly run.

The room was very large and quiet, and the staff were very friendly, yet we had visited 12 years ago and found the dining room very basic; today it is in a state that is no longer suitable for hosting guests.
