The owners are always ready to let you enjoy everything without holding you back, the place is very clean, and the food scores 10 out of 10. I see no downside and would recommend it.

If you want a place where time slows down and guest care is the priority, this is the right spot. The day starts at home with breakfast that feels like a gesture of affection, not just another meal. Away from impersonal buffets, the family running this corner welcomes us with deeply personalized and friendly service—I've been here before! “What would you like to eat?” is the magic question that tells everything about the space’s hospitality. Everything is prepared on the spot with authentic flavors that make us feel literally at home. Then we head out to enjoy the sun (in the absolute peace of the Serra) and at night return to the supreme tranquility of the village. Returning to the lodging before dinner time raises the issue of having to eat in the guest restaurant, eating whatever is available at prices that are not always predictable. Regarding accommodation comfort, it reminds me of my mother’s house, built in the ’70s/’80s, upgraded here and there with modern touches: air‑conditioning in the room and a hot‑water tank in the toilet.

I liked everything: the room was very clean, warm, and pleasant. The exceptional friendliness and welcome were great. Breakfast was delicious with local products. Sabugueiro is a beautiful village worth visiting. It was a fantastic experience and I’d definitely come back. I recommend it for sure. Nothing to point out.
