The room’s temperature was uneven and the humidity made it feel clammy; the air conditioner was unbearably loud, the space still carried a cigarette odor even though it wasn’t marked as a smoking room, and the toilet’s constant running kept me from sleeping well.

Close to La Grange. There is nothing special about staying at these chain hotels. Bare minimum effort for breakfast, minimum assistance from staff. The price level does not reflect the stay
