I stayed in a great spot with a very friendly host and staff, clean and pretty rooms, and a tasty breakfast; parking on the street was no issue.

I didn’t get a chance to try breakfast, so I can’t comment on it, but I wish there were filter coffee in the room.

“Tom's Guesthouse ist der perfekte Standort um Kapstadt selbst, aber auch die Umgebung zu erkunden.”

The breakfast was excellent, and on request the eggs were freshly cooked instead of the usual Tetra-pack version, which we really appreciated; the location is convenient for exploring Cape Town and the surrounding area, and David was attentive to guests, offering tips, advice, and recommendations throughout our stay, and the communication with him before and during our visit was effortless—overall a fantastic experience at Tom's Guesthouse, and we’ll definitely return.

“4 traumhafte Tage in Tom‘s Guest House”

We spent four fantastic days at Tom’s Guest House. Even before arriving, the WhatsApp communication was spot‑on, and David welcomed us with the same friendliness. The rooms were excellent, the staff courteous, and the spot was ideal for our sightseeing trips (best reached by Uber) in every direction. Every day David offered great local tips, and the breakfast stood out – fresh, homemade, and feeling like you’re part of the family. For our next Cape Town visit we’ll definitely choose Tom’s again.
