It was quiet, perfect for sleeping, but the breakfast was very limited, cold, the tortilla was cold, and there was no bread.

The cleanliness, service, and central location were excellent.

The place was clean, had a few lounge spots, the mattress was decent, and the room was spacious with plants. However, it felt too basic for my comfort and needed some renovation; it seemed more like a motel than a hostel, especially since it’s right on a noisy street. I didn’t get the kitchen rules clearly—felt like we weren’t fully welcomed even though we were told cooking was allowed. I missed the family‑like vibe I’m used to, though that’s not a requirement for a hotel or hostel. One of the staff ladies was friendly.

The entrance was super beautiful, inviting you to stay in the evening, and the terrace was nice. The location in Matagalpa is great, the staff are friendly, the bed and wardrobe are huge, and the lighting is lovely. The room was a bit dark, which is fine for sleeping 😅. The bathroom is outdated, but considering the price it’s completely acceptable.
