“Needs a glow up”

The place sits pretty close to Union Station, about a 15‑20 minute walk, and the key‑code system was handy so I didn’t worry about losing a key card. However, a plug in our room was bent, so the extension for the coffee maker and lamp didn’t work; the bathroom had no extractor fan and the windows wouldn’t open, making the room smell musty and damp even with the AC on; we were on the 4th floor and the lift was broken, so if you have trouble with stairs this isn’t for you; the bed creaked every time I moved, and there was a translucent window from the bathroom next to the bed, so the light would wake me up when someone used the bathroom.

“We enjoyed our stay.”

We didn’t book breakfast, but the location was great. The lady who checked us in was excellent and moved us to the second floor after the elevator didn’t work. The elevator could have been working; the young man who said he would help us move our baggage down stairs when we left didn’t show up in the foyer, which was a bit disappointing since we had heavy bags and we’re both in our 70s, so we expected an elevator. The room was smaller than we anticipated.

“Ok stay, could have been better”

The hotel is in a good spot for tourist attractions, restaurants, and nearby shops, and the staff were helpful. The room was very small and a bit run down, and the corridor outside was noisy.

“Nettes Hotel mit sehr guter Lage und für Toronto gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis”

The location is great, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooftop terrace is nice. Unfortunately, the bar was closed during our stay at the end of September, and the sandwiches at the restaurant under the hotel were very tasty. Our room had no window and only a little daylight from a single light shaft, so if you don’t spend much time in the room it’s not a problem.
