“Lovely B&B”
The location is lovely and I enjoyed the quietness. Suzanne and Glen were wonderful hosts. Breakfast was amazing and there was nothing to complain about. Beautiful, cozy, and very welcoming—I would definitely return.

There was a shoe rack right at the entrance door, and the whole place was tastefully decorated, in excellent condition and spotless. The lounge room was good, and the staff were friendly and went out of their way to help. Breakfast was great with many options, and the room had a good range of drinks, including decaf. Parking was included and useful given the limited parking in the town. The downside was the fairly long walk to the main part of Bowness on Windermere, and there were no tissues in the room.

The place was exceptionally clean and the staff were friendly. Breakfasts were prepared every day by Glenn and were superb. Susann was the perfect host.

The hotel’s beauty feels like an art gallery; the antique furniture and the warm, old‑house vibe are amazing, not to mention the good breakfast. The best part is the wonderful hosts, Madame Soran, Mr. Qilin, and the helpful team who treat guests like family. If I could return, this would be my first choice. The only downside is that there is no elevator for the upper floors, which makes carrying luggage a bit tiring, but that’s understandable for a hotel of this type.
