The room was spacious and quiet, with traditional beds that were comfortable. It was a short walk to the station and bus terminal and close to nice restaurants. However, the carpets in the common area were stained, the bath looked old and stained, and the metal doors and windows felt like an old dormitory, which made me feel uneasy overall.

The staff, location, and onsen were great. It could use a bit of renovation, and it’s very far from Beppu’s Hells.

温泉が気持ちよく、美味しい朝ごはんをいただけて満足です！そのうえお手軽に泊まれるので良かったです！. 施設自体は良いのですが、周りの環境が少し悪めです。旅館から竹瓦温泉へのアクセスも歩きで夜に1人だと少し危ないかもしれないです。

無料貸出の物が多くて助かりました。 ドライヤーや給水ポッド、カミソリなどもあって便利でした。 子供がおねしょをしてしまいましたが、クリーニング代が4000円で、高額ではなかったので安心しました。 ２階にはゆったり寛げる場所や、漫画を読むスペース、無料ドリンク(お茶や水)などがあって良いと思いました。 お部屋も綺麗な畳の部屋でゆったり寛げました。. ２階の方の大浴場に入らせていただきましたが、お湯に黒いヘドロ？のようなカス？が浮いていて気分が良いものではなかったです。

The room was large, with a very good location near a convenience store, supermarket, and bus. The train station was a 5‑minute walk. The staff were very welcoming and responsive. Two private onsens were available for 500 yen for 50 minutes, and there were two types of breakfast—Japanese and Western.
