Sleeping in a Hanok was an experience. The staff were very attentive and prepared a spectacular breakfast; on the day we left, when we didn’t have time for breakfast, they made food to go. Plus it’s next to the main city streets. Sleeping on just a futon is odd but not entirely comfortable; I wouldn’t recommend it if you have back problems or plan to stay more than 1‑2 nights.

The location was excellent, right in the middle of the centre. The owner was the nicest person, and the room was spotless. We slept so well and would stay there again. There’s a big parking nearby, lots of restaurants, and it was very quiet.

The spot’s traditional vibe and location hit the mark, but the futon pairing with a modern synthetic pillow that’s at least 40 cm tall is a let‑down.

Staying in that hanok was a delight; it sits right on the edge of Jeonju Hanok Village, making it super convenient. The host is incredibly friendly, whipping up a lovely breakfast for everyone each morning and being very accommodating. On the downside, the old building’s water pressure is atrocious—trying to shower while someone else turns on the tap is impossible. Plus, the sleeping mats are pretty thin, so if you can’t handle hard surfaces, it’ll be tough to get comfortable.
