We were told about this traditional ryokan by another couple, and it really surpassed our expectations. It sits right in Kyoto’s center, surrounded by charming boutiques, restaurants, and local markets, which made exploring the city a breeze. Most importantly, the hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel genuinely at home. The rooms combined modern comforts with traditional Japanese design, creating an authentic yet supremely comfortable vibe. It was one of the most memorable and comfortable stays on our trip.
